The Inner Child Journal is a step-by-step guide for finding the wounded child at the root of your pain, and finally giving that child what it always needed.
Available as

Your inner child is the youngest, most honest part of you. It’s who you were before you learned to shrink. Before you learned that love had conditions. Before you understood that certain feelings were too much, too loud, or too inconvenient for the adults around you.
But that inner child didn’t disappear when you grew up, they went underground.
And from there quietly and relentlessly, the inner child runs your adult life.
The inner child is the reason you keep choosing people who need you instead of people who truly see you. The inner child is the voice that says you have to “earn” your place. That child within is the one who flinches when someone gets close, or dissolves completely when someone pulls away. That inner child is the grief you don’t know how to name.
When the inner child is left unwounded and unmet, their pain surfaces as:
❌ Relationships that replay the same wound, no matter how different the person
❌ A persistent voice that sounds like a parent telling you that you’re not enough, too much, or unworthy of love
❌ Going blank when someone asks what you need, because you stopped knowing years ago
❌ Choosing to be useful to others rather than risk being truly known
❌ A longing you can’t name; for something to finally, simply, be okay
Most healing paths work with symptoms. Inner child work goes directly to their origin.
You can understand intellectually that your mother’s criticism shaped your self-worth. You can name the wound, trace the pattern, and map the attachment style. And still, the same dynamic shows up again. The same voice. The same flinch. The same reaching for love in the ways you were taught, rather than the ways you actually need.
That’s because intellectual understanding and emotional healing operate at different levels. Until you meet the child who first received that wound and gives them something genuinely different, the wound remains active in your nervous system, your relationships, and your sense of what you deserve.
Inner child work bridges self-love and shadow work. It’s the practice of going back – not to relive the past, but instead to finally give your youngest self what they were always owed: safety, acceptance, and the truth that they were never the problem.
“He who looks outside, dreams. He who looks inside, awakens.” — C.G. Jung
We didn’t create this journal as observers. We created it because we needed it ourselves – and couldn’t find anything with the right combination of honesty, gentleness, and depth to do this work with.
Most healing treats the symptom. This journal finds the child who created it.
The activities within this Inner Child Journal are not for those looking for a gentle introduction to self-reflection.
This journal asks you to go back. To feel what you felt at ages you may have spent years trying to leave behind. To grieve what you needed and didn’t receive. To sit with the child who learned that being loved meant being different from who they actually were.
If you are not in a place where you can safely access childhood grief, please be gentle with yourself and return when you’re ready. This work will be here.
This journal is for those who are willing to stop intellectualizing their wounds and actually feel them – with tenderness, with honesty, and with a real commitment to becoming the parent their inner child never had. If that’s you, this journal was written for you.
The only way out is through.

When I started this journal, I stopped working on it…afraid of what I was finding regarding my past. When I finished it, I noticed I didn’t want to spend one more day in my relationship. I broke free, even when it cost my financial stability and everything I’d built. Working with my inner child gave me the strength to face the consequences of my decisions. I couldn’t be more grateful for this mirror.

Your words have been like salve to my soul. Working through the Inner Child and Shadow Work journals has been painful yet liberating. The prompts help to bring out answers and keys from within to unlock the years of dogma, conditioning, and fear that have plagued my existence. To finally feel progress and see the results of facing all that is in me – for better or worse – is such a relief. Your journals are wonderful maps to the inner self, full of guidance and love.

I can honestly say I have already received much more value from this journal than I did from more than a year of professional psychological therapy. It is only with a deep understanding of what is going on and its root causes that we can begin to change long-held beliefs and patterns of behaviour. Your work is a genuine help.

Through this process, we have both made some incredibly profound realizations and discovered such deeply buried memories that decades and decades of therapy have not been able to uncover. Gently yet clearly called to be completely honest and raw, revealing the degree to which we have been impacted by our upbringing and deeply hidden traumas. You two have already changed our lives immensely.

Inner Child Work, along with the Shadow Work Journal, has helped me remember things I blocked from a young age. You’re right, it’s not an easy process – but I’ve always believed anything worth having doesn’t come easy. I’m not exaggerating when I say you’ve transformed my life. I went from a deep, dark suicidal depression to being grateful for each day

Me and my brother started with the Inner Child Journal and continued on. We grew up in a very toxic environment and can relate to each other’s unresolved issues. These books have been truly life-changing. A lot of ‘aha’ moments. It won’t fix everything — you have to put in the work even after you complete the workbooks — but it has helped us tremendously. We view ourselves in a different light now and have learned to love ourselves. We often say: ‘I wonder what’s going on with their inner child.
