The spiritual ego is a slippery thing. Sometimes after a powerful awakening, we confuse the experience with achieving a new and unchanging state of being. The reality is that awakening is cyclical; it ebbs and flows, just as our very being does. The message here is to wake up from waking up! It’s not a static thing!
